What is glowy?+
glowy is a free biolink platform that brings all your links, social accounts and your whole vibe together on a single page. Your profile is published at glowy.lol/username.
Is it really completely free?+
Yes. Themes, effects, analytics, badges, the Discord integration — all free. No hidden fees, no premium locks, no ads.
How do I customize my profile?+
Open the Appearance tab in your dashboard. From there you control 60+ settings including the background (image/video/gradient), 9 different effects, 7 fonts, card opacity, colors, cursor, entry splash and the music player. If you want a ready-made look, apply one in a single click from the Themes tab.
How do I show my Discord status?+
First link your Discord account from the Account tab, then join our official Discord server. Once both steps are done, your online status, the game you're playing and the song you're listening to on Spotify appear live on your profile. If you leave the server, the status disappears.
Are the view counts real?+
Yes. We filter out bots, browser prefetches and automated requests. For a view to count, the page has to be opened in a real browser, JavaScript has to run and the tab has to stay visible for at least 2 seconds. On top of that, the same visitor is only counted once per 24 hours.
Can I change my username?+
Yes, from Dashboard → Account. After a change you have to wait 3 days before changing it again, and your old username is released for someone else to claim. Your display name can be changed any time, without limits.
Will my profile show up on Google?+
Yes. Profiles are added to our sitemap and published with structured data that search engines understand. If you'd rather not be indexed, turn it off under Appearance → Privacy.
Can I download my data or delete my account?+
Yes, both live in Dashboard → Account. You can download all of your data as a single file and permanently delete your account. Deletion cannot be undone: your profile, links, stats and badges are removed for good.
Which languages is the site available in?+
Turkish and English. Use the language switcher at the bottom of the page; on your first visit the language is picked automatically from your browser settings.
Badges
Badges appear next to your name on your profile. You can hide or reorder the badges you own from the dashboard — a few of them (Founder, Staff) are locked for security reasons.

Points system
glowy tracks three separate values. We keep them apart so that spending something never lowers your level, and so the rankings can't be inflated:
Lifetime total. It never goes down and it determines your level.
Spendable balance. It will be used for rewards and a shop later on.
Only earned through other people's actions (such as likes), so you can't inflate it yourself.

Levels
The XP you collect determines your level. Your level is shown on your profile and on the leaderboard.
